The Serrano Intermediate School learning community is committed to the academic success of every student. We celebrate our diverse student population as well as our dedicated and caring staff who utilize an array of teaching strategies that help promote student success. Serrano has a wide variety of programs to ensure all student needs are met. We have a strong Career Technical Education program that includes courses such as STEAM, computer programming and application, and video broadcasting that produces the Good Morning Serrano news show. In addition, our schoolwide AVID program creates a culture of college and career readiness. All student needs are met through a variety of differentiated models in the classrooms, including honors level and co-teach classes. Student use of technology is integrated into all core classes with the focus on collaboration and higher level critical thinking skills. Serrano is a place where all kids can soar!
