Principal's Message
Dear Roadrunner Families of Rancho Santa Margarita,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I am Tyler Morgan, and I am honored and privileged to serve as the Principal of RSM Intermediate. Having been a part of this wonderful community for four years, I am thrilled to continue fostering strong relationships and ensuring our students receive the best education possible.
My wife Kristen, and I, along with our four children – Presley (17), Charlotte (15), Hudson (10), and Robert (5) – consider ourselves blessed to be members of the RSM community. This past year, we took the opportunity to explore Northern California and enjoyed some beach time during the summer. I hope you all had a chance to rest, rejuvenate, and create lasting memories with loved ones. We must refocus and move forward together as we embark on this new school year.
Our theme for this academic year is "One Step Better." This theme embodies the resilience, determination, and growth values we aim to instill in our students. Over the past year, we celebrated numerous achievements, from being recognized as a CA Distinguished School to our students becoming Boys and Girls Champions in Intramural Sports. These accomplishments are a testament to our students and staff's dedication and hard work. As we look ahead, we are filled with anticipation for even greater accomplishments as we strive to continuously improve – to be One Step Better!
Throughout the coming year, we will focus on empowering our students to realize their full potential and reach new heights. We firmly believe that our students can achieve remarkable things with the right guidance, support, and effort. Collaboratively, we will provide them with a rich and meaningful educational experience that cultivates a lifelong love for learning. We understand the importance of interaction and community in fostering developmental growth, and here at RSM, we are fortunate to have exceptional teachers, counselors, and staff dedicated to meeting the needs of every student.
I look forward to meeting each of you and embarking on this year's journey together as we strive to be "One Step Better." Your partnership and involvement are crucial to our shared success. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children.
