Dear Roadrunner Families of Rancho Santa Margarita,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! My name is Tyler Morgan, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of RSM Intermediate. Now entering my seventh year as part of this amazing community, I remain committed to building strong relationships and ensuring that every student receives the highest quality education.

My wife, Kristen, and I, along with our four children—Presley (19), Charlotte (17), Hudson (12), and Robert (7)—feel truly blessed to be part of the RSM family. This summer, we enjoyed spending time together camping and relaxing at the beach, making lasting memories before another exciting school year.

Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year is "The Adventure Begins." As our students embark on a new chapter, we are excited to welcome our incoming sixth-grade families as they begin their secondary education journey at RSM Intermediate. We are equally grateful to continue partnering with our returning seventh- and eighth-grade families as we build upon the strong foundation we've created together. Every new school year brings opportunities to grow, discover new passions, overcome challenges, and create lasting memories.

Throughout the year, we will encourage every Roadrunner to embrace new experiences with curiosity, courage, and a growth mindset. With the support of our outstanding teachers, counselors, staff, and families, we are committed to providing a meaningful and engaging educational experience that inspires students to reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
