PBIS

Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. When implemented with fidelity, PBIS improves social emotional competence, academic success, and school climate. It is a way to create positive, predictable, equitable, and safe learning environments where everyone thrives. PBIS creates schools where all students succeed. RSM has a PBIS Team that is made up of administrators, school counselors, teachers, staff and students.

Roadrunner Council is made up of student leaders who help promote academic, social, emotional and behavioral supports for all students. The main purpose of this council is to be the voice of the students of RSM. Roadrunner Council members meet twice a month to discuss the needs of their peers.
