Step 1 - Complete Online Enrollment Application

Visit the Aeries Online Enrollment page and follow the prompts to enroll your student

Step 2 - Submit Documentation

Submit the required documents to the appropriate SST listed below by grade (email preferred):

• Two forms of address verification: mortgage, lease, gas, water, or electric only
• Birth Certificate or Passport
• Parent Identification
• Proof of Immunizations, including Tdap and two Varicella vaccines
• Withdrawal from previous school with Withdrawal Grades (if withdrawn prior to end of school year)
• Final Report Card/Transcript
• Most recent Standardized Test Scores (if available)
• Special Program documents, such as IEP or 504

California law requires all students entering 7th grade to provide proof of the following vaccinations before they can attend school or Roadrunner Rally on August 4th and 5th:

• Tdap:  Must be administered on or after the student's 7th birthday
• Varicella:  2 doses required, even if there is a history of the chickenpox disease

The only valid exemption is a Medical Exemption issued by the State of California via the Cair-Me Program

Vaccines are available through your pediatrician, local pharmacies, and medical clinics. The SVUSD Health Services page also provides resources for Free and Low Cost clinics.

Immunization records should be submitted to your elementary school until the end of the school year. After that, please email records to RSMAttendance@svusd.org or provide them to our office August 1st - August 3rd from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.  Students cannot attend Roadrunner Rally on August 4 and 5th unless immunization records are current.

Does your student carry an inhaler or will they require medication at school (prescription or over-the-counter)? New Medical Authorization Forms and Emergency Care Plans are required at the start of every school year. Please visit the SVUSD Health Services page for forms and more information.

Medications with the necessary forms can be dropped off by an adult to the front office beginning August 1st between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Please ensure all medications are dropped off prior to the start of school on August 19th.

To ensure a smooth and efficient Roadrunner Rally, we request all families make purchases through the RSM Webstore prior to the rally. Many items are available on the website including planners, PE clothes, spirit wear, and yearbooks.

Beginning July 2026, ALL families must complete online Data Confirmation through a parent account on the Aeries Family Portal. This must be completed prior to the Roadrunner Rally scheduled for August 4th and August 5th.

During Data Confirmation, you will complete the following:

• Review and update demographics, emergency contacts, and medical information
• Print and sign the required forms: Annual Notification and Emergency Card

Please pay special attention to your emergency contacts as only those listed will be permitted to pick up your student during school hours.

Please note that address changes cannot be made through the data confirmation process. In order to update an address, please submit two forms of address verification (mortgage/lease, gas, water, or electric) to our 7th Grade SST Mrs. Friedman or our 8th Grade SST Mrs. Reed.   

Roadrunner Rally 2026

7th Grade: Tuesday, August 4th

What is Roadrunner Rally?

During this time, textbooks, planners, and PE clothes will be distributed (and Chromebooks to those that are new to the district). School pictures will be taken for ID's and the yearbook and will be available for purchase through South Coast Photographic. This is also a great time to meet our staff and enjoy a campus tour led by our ASB students.

Roadrunner Rally Yellow Postcards

Yellow postcards will be mailed in July with detailed information about Data Confirmation and Roadrunner Rally. ALL families must complete online Data Confirmation through the Aeries Family Portal prior to Roadrunner Rally.

The yellow postcard is your ticket into Roadrunner Rally. If you do not receive a postcard (and have not moved), please bring two forms of address verification (mortgage/lease, gas, water, or electric). Families without this documentation will not be able to proceed through the rally.

The 2026 - 2027 School Year begins Wednesday, August 19, 2026

Every Monday is our PLC Minimum Day, where students attend 8:10 AM - 1:07 PM. Our schedule Tuesday - Friday is 8:10 AM - 2:55 PM.

Student schedules will be available in Aeries beginning Friday, August 14^th at 5:00 PM. Our campus will be open that weekend for students who wish to locate their classrooms. It will also be open after business hours, starting at 5:00 PM, on Monday and Tuesday.

Students will report to their homeroom on the first day of school, during which time they will receive a paper copy of their schedule.

Students should bring their ID cards, backpacks, and basic supplies (pens/pencils, paper, binder, and planner). Each teacher will distribute a syllabus with school supply lists during the first few days of school.

Students do not have school lockers, only lockers for PE class (a lock will be provided).

All students are eligible for free snack and lunch meals every day. In order to qualify for other assistance programs, such as subsidized internet and utilities, families need to complete the School Funding Form during Data Confirmation.
