Intramural Sports are run all year long during lunch time at La Paz.

All sports have separate 7th and 8th grade tournaments.

All sports are played at lunch. It is recommended that students eat their lunch at snack time and have a quick snack before they play at lunch time as the events begin about 5-10 minutes into the lunch period.

Here is a list of the sports and contests that we play:

Flag Football

Sign up as an individual. Teams will be formed by random draw.

Volleyball

Sign up at lunch with a team of six or seven players. Students find friends to play with and sign up with a team.

Basketball

Draft process. Students sign up to be in the draft. Volunteer captains choose from a list of players one at a time at a special NBA draft event.

Three Point Shooting Contest

Students sign up as individual contestants. Each round increases as difficulty and players advance until there are the final winners.

Soccer

Sign up at lunch with a team of 7 players. Students find friends to play with and sign up as a team.
