Principal's Message
Mustang Family,
I hope this message finds you well! I'm thrilled to personally invite you to our Back to School Night on Thursday, September 5th. We’ll kick off the evening with a special presentation for our 9th-grade parents at 5:00 PM, and then at 6:10 PM, you'll have the chance to visit classrooms and meet the amazing teachers who are guiding your children this year. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn more about your child’s experiences, and build the strong partnerships that are key to their success.
This week, we’re also celebrating our seniors for their impressive improvement on last year’s CAASPP exam during Flex on Tuesday. It’s a proud moment for our school, and I hope you can join us in recognizing their hard work.
Don’t forget to check out our sports teams in action this week, and please take a moment to read through the newsletter for important dates and more celebrations of our students’ achievements.
Looking forward to seeing you all!
Ms. Alicia Foulk
Principal

2024-2025 Important Dates
____________________________________________________________________________
|
Online Exam registration will begin on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 8:00am and end on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:59pm.
The AP exam registration process has two steps, but both can be completed in one sitting when the student and parent do this together. Even if you do not plan to take the AP exam, you need to complete both steps to access the College Board’s AP resources.
Both steps must be completed in order to have an AP exam ordered.
Step 1:
Begin the process by registering with Total Registration. Indicate the AP courses you are taking this year and the exams you wish to take. You will receive your join codes and directions to complete the second required step. Any exam fees will be paid online so be sure to have a debit or credit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment.
Step 2:
Use the join codes provided at the completion of step one to enroll the student’s AP courses and exams in the College Board’s system.
Please note: both of the above steps must be completed in order to have an exam(s) ordered.
This year each AP exam costs $110.00. Trabuco Hills High School desires that every student be able to take their AP exams. Students requiring financial assistance should contact Kimberly Lindsay, kimberly.lindsay@svusd.org in the Guidance office to learn more.

Recently, the College Board awarded thousands of students from across the country with academic honors through their annual National Recognition Programs.
High-achieving students from all 50 states and U.S. territories were eligible to apply to four programs: National African American Recognition Program, National Hispanic Recognition Program, National Indigenous Recognition Program, National Rural/Small Town Recognition Program, and (new in 2024) first-generation students.
The National Recognition Programs honor the strong academic achievements of underrepresented students. Students are able to showcase their hard work in high school and colleges looking to recruit diverse, talented students often use these honors. Eligible students were invited to apply on BigFuture (through the College Board).
