Principal's Message

Dear Mustang Families,

This week is Club Rush during snack and lunch! Be sure to take some time to join a club and get connected—the Mustang Way! It’s a great opportunity to explore your interests and make new friends.

We also have several varsity sports teams in action this week, including tennis, water polo, flag football, golf, and two home volleyball games in our gym. Let's come out and show our Mustang pride! A special shoutout to our boys cross country team, who are heading to Arizona this Friday to compete against nationally ranked teams in the Desert Twilight Classic—good luck, Mustangs!

Students, don't forget to schedule your Flex Time on Monday. Flex Time is a perfect chance to get extra help and stay on pace with your studies.

Homecoming tickets are on sale now! Our Moana-themed Homecoming is on October 12, so get your tickets early and join in the fun.

Have a wonderful week, Mustangs!

Ms. Alicia Foulk

Principal

THHS E-Bike Safety Course & Pedestrian Safety

As of September 9th all SVUSD students who ride bikes, e-bikes, scooters, or skateboards are now required to apply for a permit.

\Once your student has completed the bike safety course and assessment, please have them bring their signed permission slip to the front office before or after school to receive their bicycle permit sticker.

If you are unable to print the permission slip, please have your student pick one up in the front office to bring home to be signed.

There is no fee to obtain the bike permit. The purpose is to ensure students are aware of the safety guidelines when riding and stay safe.

All students are required to complete this process by Monday, September 30th.

Thank you for your attention to these important safety measures.

As an additional reminder, 9th and 10th graders are to remain on campus at all times. Students have been seen jaywalking across both Santa Margarita Parkway and across Los Alisos to get off campus for lunch causing a danger to themselves and other drivers. Please have a conversation with your student about the importance of following all school rules with regards to remaining on campus and about the dangers of jaywalking in heavy traffic. Please remind your student to use the crosswalks at all times when leaving campus. Thank you.

AP college board logo

Online Exam registration will begin on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 8:00am and end on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:59pm.

The AP exam registration process has two steps, but both can be completed in one sitting when the student and parent do this together.  Even if you do not plan to take the AP exam, you need to complete both steps to access the College Board’s AP resources.

Both steps must be completed in order to have an AP exam ordered.

Step 1:

Begin the process by registering with Total Registration.  Indicate the AP courses you are taking this year and the exams you wish to take.  You will receive your join codes and directions to complete the second required step.  Any exam fees will be paid online so be sure to have a debit or credit card available before beginning registration.  Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment.

Step 2:

Use the join codes provided at the completion of step one to enroll the student’s AP courses and exams in the College Board’s system.

Please note: both of the above steps must be completed in order to have an exam(s) ordered.

This year each AP exam costs $110.00.  Trabuco Hills High School desires that every student be able to take their AP exams.  Students requiring financial assistance should contact Kimberly Lindsay, kimberly.lindsay@svusd.org in the Guidance office to learn more.
