Principal's Message

Mustang Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are so excited to welcome our students and staff back to campus. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 13, and we’ll begin the year on a late start schedule. A mini Round-Up will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

This year is extra special, as we celebrate Trabuco Hills’ 40th anniversary. We invite all of you to help us honor the traditions, people, and memories that have made Trabuco such a vibrant and important part of our community.

As we start the year, I want to remind our students to always act in the Mustang Waybe responsible, be respectful, and stay connected, both in and out of the classroom. These values are at the heart of everything we do.

Looking ahead, we have our first Boys Water Polo and Girls Volleyball games this Thursday—come out and cheer on our Mustangs!

Each Monday, we send out a weekly newsletter that includes important events, athletic updates, and student highlights. Please take a few minutes to read through it each week. Newsletters are always posted on our website, along with past editions, in case you ever need to reference them.

Finally, under the Guidance section of this newsletter, you’ll find a list of frequently asked questions to help start the year off smoothly. Please take a moment to read through this important information.

Looking forward to a great year together!

Alicia Foulk

THHS Cell Phone & Mobile Device Use Policy

Trabuco Hills High School enforces a structured cell phone/mobile device use policy to promote a respectful and distraction free learning environment.

All students are required to:

  • Store phones and mobile devices in a designated location as determined by the teacher.
  • Refrain from using cell phones and mobile devices during the entire class period including when going to the restroom or when given a hall pass from the start to the end of class or when determined by the teacher.

Violations of this policy will be cumulative across a student's school day and will be addressed with the following progressive disciplinary consequences and aligned with the tiered interventions and supports within our MTSS-SEB structure.

The Supervision office enters 6 demerits on the students discipline record. The Supervision office schedules a Parent Conference. The Supervision office develops a Behavior Contract/Cell Phone Plan with the student.

Fifth Offense

Important Information to Start the 2025 -2026 School Year

How do I see my schedule?

Students will be able to view their schedule, including teachers and room numbers, through their student full Aeries Portal on the Internet (not the app) starting Monday at 4:00 pm. After students log-in, they should select the “Classes” tab to view their schedule. Please be sure to check this schedule before the first day of school, for we still are enrolling students and balancing classes.

What if I didn’t attend Round-Up Registration or the make-up Registration?

If a student was unable to attend Round-Up Registration or make-up Registration, the student needs to report to THHS Attendance windows on the first day of school (Wednesday, August 13th) to complete the registration process beginning at 8:00 am.

What if I am a new student and haven’t had a registration appointment with my Guidance Technician yet?

If you have not completed the required paperwork yet and need assistance accessing it, please see Mrs. Sullivan in the front office.  If you have all the required paperwork turned in but haven’t met with a Guidance Technician to schedule courses, please come to the front office after 10:00 am.

What if I want a schedule change?

Students’ abilities to request schedule changes prior to the second full week of school (8/26/2024), will be limited to errors in their schedules as explained on the 25-26 Trabuco Hills Schedule Change Request Form. Students whose schedules show errors as defined by the form, may see their technician between 8-10 am, snack, lunch, or after school until 4 pm on the first day of school.

What does the first day of school look like?

We will begin school late on the first day to accommodate students who still need to go through registration and students who may have errors in their schedule as explained above. Zero period will begin at 9:30 and 1st period at 10:15. The entire school day schedule can be viewed on the THHS Bell Schedule.

What if I want to add an on-line Virtual Academy (SVA) class or a Saddleback Community College class?

Please see your counselor if you would like to place a request for an online SVA course.  Please note that many courses at SVA are currently full and no longer available.

If you would like to register for an online Saddleback Community College course, please follow the new Dual Enrollment Directions. Additionally, notify your counselor or technician of the course in which you are enrolled.
