Trabuco Hills Track &Field
This Friday and Saturday, the California State Prelims and Finals will take place, and several of the team’s athletes have punched their ticket after many weeks of qualifying rounds.
This past weekend’s track meet in Moorpark was incredible. The Girls 4x400 team—Emma Ortiz, Marley Young, Abby Patton, and Colbie Webster—shattered the school record once again and secured their place at State Prelims. Evangeline Williams also broke her own school record in the 1600m and qualified. Additionally, Garrett Higgins (pole vault), Holly Barker (3200), and Dylan Jubak (1600) qualified in their respective events.
Coach Ayers will leave it to Kara Johnson to share more about the Unified Team qualifiers, who were nothing short of magnificent.
It has been a magical season, and Coach Ayers is deeply proud to work alongside Coach Liam Clemons and Coach Dennis Kelly, who continue to grow and thrive as two of the top coaches in the nation.
