Trabuco Hills Choral Department – Festival Season Highlights & Spring Concert Invitation

It has been an incredible year for our Choral Department, filled with unforgettable performances, inspiring travel, and well-earned recognition. We’re excited to share some highlights from this past festival season—moments your students helped shape and shine in.

SPRING TOUR TO COSTA RICA
Over spring break, our Chamber Choir and Nightingales had the amazing opportunity to tour Costa Rica. Students traveled through San José, Sarchí, Cartago City, and Alajuela, performing their festival repertoire at La Soledad Church, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, and the Cathedral of Alajuela. In addition to their performances, they explored the vibrant local culture, enjoyed traditional cuisine, toured historical landmarks, and experienced some of the finest coffee in the world. This tour was undoubtedly one of our most memorable yet.

Watch a special moment from our performance in the Cathedral of Alajuela:

CMEA STATE CHORAL FESTIVAL
We are proud to announce that both Chamber Choir and Nightingales were selected to perform at the California Music Educators Association (CMEA) State Choral Festival this spring. Trabuco Hills High School was one of only twelve schools across California chosen to perform, based on previous superior ratings and exemplary recordings.

Our ensembles represented Southern California with distinction, demonstrating both musical excellence and the core values of honor and respect. Throughout the season, they earned no less than 99 out of 100 at all rated and collegiate-level invitationals. These outstanding results reflect the strength of their musicianship, teamwork, and sense of community.

END-OF-YEAR SPRING CONCERT – YOU’RE INVITED
To conclude this remarkable season, we warmly invite you to attend our End-of-Year Spring Concert on Friday, May 30 at 7:30 PM at The Bridge Church in Rancho Santa Margarita.

The evening will feature performances by:

  • VAPA Unified Ensemble

  • Concert Choir

  • Nightingales

  • Auroras

  • Baritone Ensemble

  • Chamber Choir

Join us for a night of powerful, heartfelt music as we celebrate a year of hard work, artistry, and lasting memories.
