Principal's Message
Mustang Families,
Please take some time today to review all the information on the newsletter site. Today is Monday, March 11th, 2024.
We are excited to welcome the class of 2028 this week. Our incoming students had the opportunity to explore some of our elective offerings, see and hear performances from our pep squad, band, and choir, as well as participate in spirit activities, visit some of our classes and be taken on a campus tour.
Our Juniors will be participating in CAASPP and CAST testing this week and next in their English, math, and science classes. We encourage all students to do their best, and help THHS continue the tradition of being the top performing high school in the district. The current participation requirements make it even more important for our students to work hard so that we hit our 95% participation rate. Should you have questions about the testing, please reach out.
Due to testing we will be on a modified schedule this week and next.
With only a few weeks remaining in the quarter, we encourage students to work hard and seek support when needed.
We invite you to scroll through this page for highlights, student recognitions, and more!
Ms. Alicia Foulk
Principal

Hussein Hirani shares his experience as a FANSI ambassador at the AI K-12 summit in Anaheim! Way to represent Trabuco!
"I had the opportunity to attend an AI K-12 Summit in Anaheim, where I was able to better understand how AI can be better adapted for educational frameworks at our schools. I was able to attend as an ambassador of a program called Forward AI Network for Student Innovators. I was selected for this program by submitting a video of an AI invention. Attending this conference, for me, was a mind-blowing experience, especially considering that this was the first tech conference I have ever attended. The knowledge I ascertained was truly impactful, and I was also able to meet some great minds contributing world-changing inventions to this emerging field." - Hussein Hirani

Robots in the Hills Competition
We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our inaugural District Robotics Competition, "Robots in the Hills," held this past Saturday. The event marked a significant milestone in our district's commitment to fostering innovation and excellence among our students.
The participation exceeded expectations, with all three High Schools and the vast majority of Intermediate Schools enthusiastically joining the competition. We were honored to host a total of twenty-one teams, each showcasing their ingenuity and technical prowess.
In a spirit of healthy competition, Intermediate Schools competed against one another, while High Schools engaged in matches among themselves. The highlight of the event was the showdown between the top Intermediate School and High School teams in the stock division, culminating in an exciting display of talent and determination.
The competition featured two distinct divisions, allowing teams to demonstrate their skills in various categories:
- Stock Robots
- Modified Robots
I am proud to announce that our teams demonstrated exceptional performance across both divisions, achieving remarkable success:
- Stock Division: Our teams secured the coveted first and second positions, showcasing their strategic thinking and technical proficiency.
- Modified Division: Once again, our teams excelled, claiming the top two spots and reaffirming their innovative capabilities.
This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students, the support of our educators, and the collaborative efforts of our community. Through events like "Robots in the Hills," we aim to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
As we celebrate the success of our inaugural robotics competition, let us continue to nurture and support the talents and aspirations of our students. Together, we will continue to cultivate a culture of excellence and achievement within our district.
Congratulations to all the participants, organizers, and supporters who contributed to the resounding success of "Robots in the Hills." Your commitment and enthusiasm have made this event truly memorable.
