Principal's Message

Mustang Families,

Please take some time today to review all the information on the newsletter site. Today is Monday, February 27, 2023.

Our winter sports have come to a close. Congratulations again to Kaylee Golz and Henry Sturn. They placed 3rd and 4th in the state this past weekend in Bakersfield, respectively. Our competitive cheer team also finished in 2nd place in national this past weekend. Scroll for photos of all our athletes.

This week, we will be hosting a course expo during a Mustang Assembly for our 9-11 grade students to find out more about some of our elective and course offerings on Wednesday, March 1st. Next week, the guidance department will be sending out information on the course selection process and choosing classes for next year. We also have our Sophomore parent night on Wednesday, March 1st, hosted by our guidance department.

Spring sports are underway, with quite a few events on our campus this week (weather permitting). Be sure to come out to our fields, courts, and gym to cheer on our athletes. Athletics schedules are updated frequently. Please consult with the appropriate team for any changes or updates.

We invite you to scroll through this page for highlights, student recognitions, and more!

THHS Social Science honors Students of the Month!

Sasha is an exceptional student. She is a hard worker and a great leader. She is strong in the classroom, on the track, and in the community. Some of her greatest achievements at Trabuco Hills are competing at the USA Games in Orlando, Fl for Unified Track and Field and getting a part time job this year as a classified staff hired by the district. Sasha continues to exceed expectations in her classes by showing independence and a strong work ethic in all aspects of the school day. She truly exemplifies characteristics we want all Mustangs to achieve in their 4 years at Trabuco Hills

Ryan is attentive to detail and works collaboratively with his fellow students. He is particularly helpful with assisting students with Math related questions and freely gives his time during our independent study portions of class time to assist students who ask for help.

Neil is studious, determined, gritty, and shows a considerable amount of effort in all areas of his work. He is the model student and Mr. Ayers is extremely proud of his progress.

Ethan is literally the "comeback player of the year" from a semester ago where he earned an F in my class and displayed a terrible attitude and made excuses for every reason to NOT TO DO WORK or TRY and put in the EFFORT... Today I'm proud to say based on his decision to do his work and TRY with an attitude willing to meet the challenge and accept the "satisfaction" that comes from doing your best. Ethan is deserving of this recognition and hope you recognize his accomplishments thus far. - Mr. Moot
