Mustang Families,

We hope you had a wonderful February Recess and are feeling refreshed for the rest of the spring semester!

This week is packed with opportunities to connect, support, and celebrate our Mustang community. Join us for Winter Sports Week activities at snack, our 3rd Quarter Mustang Spirit Brunch on Tuesday, and an exciting lineup of home games in softball, lacrosse, golf, beach volleyball, and boys volleyball. Enjoy incredible performances at the THHS Music Pre-Festival Concert and the Pops Concert, and parents, don’t miss the Academic Planning Meeting (via Zoom) and the Financial Aid Workshop to help guide your student’s future.

A huge congratulations to our wrestling team for an outstanding performance at Masters this past weekend! We sent nine CIF qualifiers—three girls and six boys—to compete, and three athletes earned top finishes:

🏆 Kylee Golz – Girls 120 Masters Champion
🥈 Danny Frailey – Boys 190 2nd Place
🥉 Oliver Benninghoff – Boys 126 3rd Place

They’ll be competing at State Finals in Bakersfield this week, and we’re wishing them the best of luck!

THHS Course Registration Update

THHS is now using the Academic Plan feature in Aeries to help students and families map out their four-year high school journey with greater collaboration and transparency.

Families can create an Academic Plan aligned with their student’s post-graduation goals, which will be reviewed individually with counselors before finalizing course registration for the 2025-2026 school year. This plan will be revisited annually to keep families informed and engaged.

The Academic Plan course request window is open from February 14 – March 2, 2025. Be sure to complete your plan before your one-on-one counselor meeting in March.

Trabuco Hills Instrumental Music

The 2025 Trabuco Hills High School Intermediate Orchestra, 2025 Trabuco Hills High School Symphonic Band, and 2025 Trabuco Hills High School Symphony Orchestra will entertain audiences at the 2025 Pre-Festival Concert @ Trabuco Hills High School Gymnasium in Mission Viejo, California on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 starting at 6:30pm. These talented musicians will play several pieces that they have been preparing for the upcoming festivals. Come out to this music event! GO BLUE!

THHS Tutoring Club

We have a club on campus dedicated to providing quality lunchtime tutoring for a variety of subjects with current trends indicating a higher demand for math and science tutoring. We are seeking your assistance in sharing this opportunity with your students. Students who want tutoring simply need to complete the form using the QR code on the flyer and our team will reach out to them to schedule a session with a qualified tutor. Additionally, we are continuously recruiting new tutors. If you have any students interested in being a tutor, please encourage them to register using the QR code on the flyer.

Steps to get cleared to participate in Athletics at Trabuco Hills High School:

Athletic Clearance Instructions

1.) Go to AthleticClearance.com

2.) Register / Create an account under 2024-2025 school year (if you have an existing account- log in and update to 2024-2025. Update any new information and upload a current medical eligibility form)

3.) Print off medical eligibility paper work (THHS Website/Athletics/Athletic Clearance)

4.) Upload the medical eligibility form completed by physician.

5.) MUST be signed, stamped, dated, and have a recommendation by physician (only need to upload the last page- see sample form below)
