Principal's Message
Mustang Families,
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break and is ready for an exciting start to the spring semester. As a reminder, we will have a late start schedule on Monday, January 6th to kick things off.
Let’s begin this semester with enthusiasm and a commitment to following the Mustang Way: staying responsible, respectful, and connected.
We also have some fantastic events happening this week:

Boys’ Soccer Senior Night is on Friday. Come out to celebrate our senior players and cheer them on!

Both Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball teams have home games this week. Let’s show our Mustang pride and support our athletes.

On Thursday, join us for some laughs at Comedy Sportz. It’s always a great time and a wonderful way to connect as a community.

Spring Semester Schedules
January 6th marks the beginning of spring semester, so we would like to remind everyone of some important second semester information.
-
Monday, January 6th will follow a late start schedule. The front office will open at 7:00 and the Guidance Office will open at 8:30. Zero period will begin at 9:30 am and 1st period will begin at 10:15 am.

Prior to the first day of second semester, be sure to check the web version (Full Portal) of Aeries (not the app) for your second semester schedules, for several student schedules were changed due to the opening, closing, and balancing of classes.

If there is an error in your second semester schedule, the Technicians and Counselors will be available to help you starting at 8:30 am on January 6th. All schedule change requests will require a filled out Schedule Change Request Form (blank forms also will be available in Guidance). Please note that schedule change requests will be limited to the reasons identified on the form.

6th period Athletics will not be offered in the Spring; state law requires all 9th graders be enrolled in PE unless they participate on a Winter or Spring school athletic team, Marching Band, or Dance.

Trabuco Hills Wrestling
Trabuco Hills Wrestling squared up against the best girls in the nation at the Queen of the Hill and came away with two medals! Congrats to Kylee Golz (2nd) and Isabella Dipippo (8th) for placing at the toughest tournament in California!

Athletic Clearance Steps
Steps to get cleared to participate in Athletics at Trabuco Hills High School:
Athletic Clearance Instructions
1.) Go to AthleticClearance.com
2.) Register / Create an account under 2024-2025 school year (if you have an existing account- log in and update to 2024-2025. Update any new information and upload a current medical eligibility form)
3.) Print off medical eligibility paper work (THHS Website/Athletics/Athletic Clearance)
4.) Upload the medical eligibility form completed by physician.
5.) MUST be signed, stamped, dated, and have a recommendation by physician (only need to upload the last page- see sample form below)
