Principal's Message

Mustang Families,

Happy Monday, Mustangs! As we head into the final week before finals, I want to encourage everyone to stay focused, finish strong, and take care of yourselves. Make sure assignments are complete, review your notes, and take little moments to recharge. You have worked hard all semester and it shows.

This week is also Winter Spirit Week, so have fun showing your Mustang pride. On Monday, cozy up in your favorite sweater for Sweater Weather. Tuesday is Candy Cane Day, so bring out your red and white stripes. Wednesday is Polar Opposites, a chance to mix summer and winter styles. Thursday is Merry Matcha, where you can dress like a performative male. There will even be a contest at snack. Friday is Pajama Day, the perfect way to finish the week comfortable and cozy.

We also have some exciting events to celebrate. Our Winter Concert is Tuesday at 7 PM, a great chance to enjoy the amazing talent of our musicians. We are also so proud of our Girls Cross Country team, who competed at the Nike Cross Nationals and finished 11th in the nation. Their dedication, teamwork, and perseverance are truly inspiring.

Trabuco Hills High School is proud to celebrate its 40th anniversary during the 2025 school year. Since opening in 1985, the school has served as a cornerstone of the community, fostering academic excellence, school spirit, and lasting traditions.

Over the past four decades, Trabuco Hills has grown in both size and strength, developing a reputation for outstanding student achievement, exceptional programs, and a dedicated staff committed to student success. Thousands of graduates have walked its halls each contributing to the school’s enduring legacy.

Trabuco Hills Winter Spirit Week

Get ready to show your Mustang pride and join in the fun for Winter Spirit Week! This year’s theme is “Spirit!”, and we can’t wait to see everyone participating. Dress up each day with these festive ideas:

  • Monday – Sweater Weather: Cozy up in your favorite winter sweater.

  • Tuesday – Candy Cane Day: Wear red and white stripes to show your sweet holiday spirit.

  • Wednesday – Polar Opposites: Mix it up! Dress like a summer day in winter clothes, or a winter day in summer clothes.

The 2025 Holiday Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 @ THHS Gymnasium at 7:00pm. The following ensembles will be performing for our listening pleasure: Intermediate Orchestra, Advanced Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble and Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit.

Trabuco Hills Croos Country 

Mustang Pride on the National Stage

Our Girls Cross Country team competed at the invite-only 2025 Nike Cross Nationals (NXN) — the most elite high school XC meet in the country — and finished 11th in the nation, earning a team score of 311.

This incredible accomplishment speaks volumes about the athletes’ dedication, teamwork, and the outstanding coaching behind them. We are so proud to see our Mustangs representing Trabuco Hills High School on a national stage, competing with the very best across the country.

Congratulations to every girl, coach, and supporter who helped make this happen. You earned every bit of Mustang Pride!
