As we head into the week ahead, I want to share a few important reminders and highlights from around campus.
There is no school on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We encourage our community to take time to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and his call to service, compassion, and unity. Please also note that Monday, January 26 is a non-student day, and there will be no school for students.
On Wednesday, January 21, we will be on a minimum day schedule as we prepare to welcome future Mustangs to campus for our annual Trabuco Hills High School Showcase. The Showcase begins at 6:00 PM and is designed for current 8th graders and their families to experience what makes Trabuco Hills such a special place. Guests will have the opportunity to meet our staff, explore academic pathways, athletics, and special programs, and take part in tours and demonstrations across campus. Activities will take place in the gym, select classrooms, and the Rally Stage, with parking available in all campus lots and information booths located near the Administration Building and the Rally Stage.
We also have a full week of athletics ahead. Girls Water Polo competes against Tesoro on Tuesday afternoon and Aliso Niguel on Thursday. Tuesday evening features Boys Basketball at home against Mission Viejo. On Thursday, Girls Soccer takes on San Clemente, followed by Girls Basketball hosting Tesoro. Competitive Cheer will represent Trabuco Hills at CIF Prelims on Friday and Championships on Saturday, and Boys Soccer wraps up the week with a home match against Dana Hills on Friday evening.
Thank you for the continued partnership and support you show our students and staff. We look forward to a meaningful week ahead and to welcoming many new families to our campus on Wednesday evening.
