The 2026 MVHS Pep Squad is a year round program made up of approximately 70 student athletes across six teams: Varsity Cheer, JV Cheer, Frosh-Soph Cheer, Varsity Song, JV Song, and Varsity Competitive Cheer. Throughout the year, Pep Squad performs at pep assemblies, rallies, football games, basketball games, and a variety of other school and community events. In addition, our Varsity Competitive Cheer team competes at both regional and nationally recognized competitions. Pep Squad is considered a two season sport and operates as a year long commitment. Team tryouts are held each May, with Varsity Competitive Cheer tryouts scheduled for July 14, 2026.
