- Attendance at dances is a privilege, and not a right, which may be revoked for lack of responsibility at school including, but not limited to: unpaid fines, suspension / expulsion, or have lost privileges due to 6 or more demerits.
- A student ID is required for entry.
- If your student is not checked into the dance within 45 minutes of the dance starting we will call home. The doors will close for entry after 90 minutes of the dance opening.
- Your student can leave the dance 90 minutes before the end time.
- All students must be picked up within 30 minutes of the dance ending.
- There are NO REFUNDS on dance tickets.
- All students are subject to being searched & breathalyzed prior to entry to the dance.
- All MVHS dances require guest to get a separate permission slip filliped out prior to the dance. This permission slip must be completed by the administration from the guests' high school with an official signature and business card.
- DO NOT BRING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING TO A DANCE:Gels, liquids, aerosols, lanyards, perfume, gum, food, mints, lipstick, ChapStick, chargers/portable chargers, pens, pencils, markers/highlighters or backpacks. Leave these items in the car or limo. These items will be confiscated at the dance and SVUSD is not responsible for confiscated items.
- Student and guests removed/denied entry for a violation of dance expectations/contract will not be given any refunds.
- NOTE: Violation of the dancing policy will consist of immediate removal from the dance and possible other disciplinary actions. No reimbursement or refund will be given when asked to leave the dance for not following this agreement.
