Please proceed to Data Confirmation before Diablo Days. Freshmen and new to SVUSD students please check for information unique to you including the Freshmen and New Student Orientation within the following instructions panels:

Data Confirmation Information
Data Confirmation
All families must complete On-Line Data Confirmation prior to Diablo Days. If you are unable to attend Diablo Days, please complete Data Confirmation prior to the first day of school and bring your printed forms and postcard on the first day. Postcards will be mailed home mid-July.
Data Confirmation is open from July 12th through August 1st
An SVUSD Parent Portal Account (not a Student Account) is required to register. All Data Confirmation paperwork will be completed on-line and brought to Diablo Days. There will be no packet pick-up this year. Please follow the steps below to complete the Data Confirmation process and to prepare your forms and transactions for Diablo Days Registration.
Step 1 - Parent Portal Account
- If you already have an active Parent Portal Account, proceed to step 2.
- If you do not already have a Parent Portal Account:
- Create an SVUSD Parent Portal Account through the SVUSD Family Portal.
Step 2 - Data Confirmation
Visit the Aeries Parent Portal. Follow all prompts and tabs within the Data Confirmation pages to confirm or correct your student's data.
You must log in using a Parent Portal account to have access to Data Confirmation. If you do not see the yellow highlighted "Student Data Confirmation Process Click Here" link at the top of the Home Portal page, you are logged in as a student, not as a parent.
To see the linked Parent Portal accounts for your student
- Click on the Student Information tab at the top of the Portal page
- Choose the Profile drop down tab
- Scroll to the bottom of that page for the list of all linked portals
- Log in using a Parent Portal
In the Data Confirmation window, you will do the following:
- Review and update demographic and emergency contacts and medical information
- Print and sign the required forms on both the Documents tab & the MVHS Diablo Days Documents link
- Return to parent portal to complete the data confirmation process
Step 3 - Prepare for Diablo Days
Retain important documents and bring them to Diablo Days registration. For further information, refer to our Diablo Days panel below.

Required:
The following REQUIRED MVHS documents must be printed, completed, and returned during Diablo Days:
- Postcard (mailed home the week of July 9th)
- Signed Student Emergency Card (printed at the last step of Data Confirmation)
- Signed Annual Notification Signature Form (printed at the last step of Data Confirmation)

The forms listed below are optional. Read & review each of the forms below. Print, complete, and return all of the forms that apply to your student during Diablo Days:

Finally
You MUST return to the parent portal to finalize the data confirmation process. Visit the Parent Portal if your page has expired.
Diablo Days Procedures
All families must complete On-Line Data Confirmation prior to Diablo Days. If you are unable to attend Diablo Days, please complete Data Confirmation prior to the first day of school and bring your printed forms and postcard on the first day.
Please come prepared, there will be no packet pick-up this year.
Diablo Days Postcards
Diablo Days postcards will be mailed the week of July 9th to remind families to complete Data Confirmation (Please refer to the previous panel). You must present this postcard at Diablo Days, along with the materials you print during Data Confirmation.
If a student DID NOT receive a postcard, or has confirmed they have moved, they will need to bring their 2 proofs of residence (Gas, Electric, Water, Rental Agreement, or Purchase documents) to their Student Service Technician PRIOR to Diablo Days.

Bring the Diablo Days Checklist/Instructions to Diablo Days on your assigned date and time with the following:

On the 1st Day of School
Get ready for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025! Read or print out the following information that includes the schedule for the first day which will be a late start schedule:

- Incoming Freshman and New Student Orientation Friday, August 8th 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Concurrent Enrollment
Saddleback College/Mission Viejo HS Concurrent Enrollment Process
- Meet with your MVHS Counselor
- Discuss your plan to enroll in a specific course and how it may impact both your high school records and college records. This discussion is required each time a new course is planned.

- Discuss your plan to enroll in a specific course and how it may impact both your high school records and college records. This discussion is required each time a new course is planned.
- Select Desired Course
- Use Saddleback College’s class schedule to select your course, as well as locate the assigned CRN # for the specific section of the course that you would like:
IMPORTANT: Start and end dates may vary (full-term/ 16-week course versus 8-week course). Also check for possible textbook/online resource/materials fees. Click the “Books” link in your desired CRN # information.
- Use Saddleback College’s class schedule to select your course, as well as locate the assigned CRN # for the specific section of the course that you would like:
- Apply To Saddleback College
- Create a profile with CCC Apply (only needs to be completed once).
- Click "Start a New Application" for Saddleback College. Once submitted, you should receive an email from Saddleback College/SOCCCD within 24 hours, which contains your college ID# and assigned student email address. Please ensure that you save this information.
- Complete Saddleback College Dual Enrollment Request Form
- After you have obtained permission from your MVHS counselor, you are now clear to complete the NEW Saddleback College electronic Dual Enrollment Form( General and CCAP). This form is only required to be completed once.
- Enter your Saddleback College Student ID# and your high school ID#
- Enter your parent/guardian information. Please double-check email information for accuracy, as this will be sent to your parent/guardian to sign.
- High School Site: Mission Viejo High School
- Within approximately 7 business days, you should receive an email from Saddleback College confirming your permission to register
- Register for Class
- Registration Instructions (Requires $27 health fee. Other registration fees are optional. Visit My Account Balance in MySite to pay.)
- Complete SVUSD Concurrent Enrollment Permission Form
- Drop off your completed SVUSD Concurrent Enrollment form to your MVHS counselor. This form will need to be submitted every term that you plan to enroll in a new course.
- Final Step: Prepare for Class
- Become familiar with your Saddleback College email account, as well as your Saddleback College Canvas account (your Canvas account is not the same account as your SVUSD account):

Schedule Change Requests
MVHS Schedule Change Requests:
Schedule change requests will be honored if you are missing a class or if you are placed in the wrong course level. Any other requests will be considered on a case by case basis.
Please contact your Counselor or Student Service Technician regarding your schedule.
If your change request has been granted, the schedule change will be reflected on your locator the first day of school.
Accessing Your Parent Portal Account
The SVUSD Family Portal is a secure and private online resource that provides access to your child's emergency contact list, grades (from participating teachers), report cards, and test scores.
Quick steps to create a new Family Portal account
You will need the following information to complete your account creation:
- Student's permanent six-digit ID number
- Home Phone (must match the submitted home phone from AIR)
- Verification Passcode (sent through email)
- You must have a valid email address to use the Family Portal. If you do not have one, please create an account using any service online and return back to start the process
- From the Family Portal icon, select "Create New Account" and follow the additional steps
- Account type - select Parent Account (you must have a parent account to complete the data confirmation and re-registration process)
- Account information - enter and verify your email address and create/verify a password
- Confirm your email account - go to your email inbox and retrieve the confirmation email along with the "Verification Code"
- Emergency Contact Verification - once your student has been added to your account, choose the record that represents you and your Family Portal account will be updated
