PSAT Information
Laguna Hills High School will be offering the PSAT on Saturday, October 11th, from 8:30 am until approximately 11:30 am.
The PSAT/NMSQT® (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is designed to help prepare students for the SAT, college, and careers. Historically, students who took the PSAT/NMSQT scored higher on the SAT, on average, than those who didn’t take the test. Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT in 11th grade may meet requirements to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. All sophomore and junior students are encouraged to take the PSAT.
There is a $35 registration fee. Students can register through the Hawk Webstore. Early registration is strongly encouraged as there is a limited number of tests available.
The deadline to register for the test is September 14th.
Please contact your School Counselor if you have any financial concerns or if you have a conflict with the October 11th test date.
