Hello 2018! January is here and we hope you and your families had a fun and joyous holiday break. The teachers and students are back at the instructing and learning modes they do so well!
The Google Expedition folks came out in December to give our teachers and students a look into Augmented Reality (AR). Students explored such topics as the solar system and Da Vinci's inventions. Engaging lessons that allow students opportunities to interact in a way that are very different than a typical classroom lesson. Great stuff!
Primary music is back at Robinson! Our fabulous PTA has sponsored a weekly program (Wednesdays) for kindergarten through third grade classes. These 30-minute sessions which begin on January 17th, are designed to help students explore the basics of music, including rhythm, beat, and style. Getting more students involved in the arts is always beneficial to the kids and to our community. Hopefully, this will translate into more students joining strings and band in the upper grades.
Happy New Year, and as always, Go Rattlers!Mr. Kaplan
