Dear Montevideo Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year and we are looking forward to developing strong relationships with our students and families. I am honored to be the principal of Montevideo Elementary School. I value working together to create a positive, nurturing, and inspiring environment where our students will thrive as learners and with our families as partners. 

Montevideo is an amazing school where there are long-standing relationships between students, families and staff. We are an inclusive school community of learners and proud of our specialized programs which are integrated in all areas of school. 

Our dedicated staff is committed to providing high quality engaging instruction and in a supportive environment, where every child will excel.  This year, we will focus on fostering: a love for learning, encouraging innovation; and supporting our students with their academics, behavior, and social emotional well-being. Teachers and staff will strive to create positive, predictable, and safe environments that promote strong interpersonal relationships with students and families. Our dynamic PTA provides additional enrichment opportunities for students and families to be involved with our school community. Calling All Family Volunteers, We Need You!

Dear Montevideo School Family,

We are so excited to be welcoming our parents back on campus as volunteers. Please see the steps below in order to join us as we serve our students.

Steps To Volunteering – Must be done annually

1. Complete the Volunteer Form 1 packet.
2. Bring in a copy of a valid picture ID (office can make a copy if needed)

Once you have been cleared, you are ready to volunteer!

• All Volunteers/Visitors must check-in at the front office.
• Your ID will be run through the Raptor System and you will be provided a sticker ID that must be worn at all times on campus.
• Visitors/Volunteers without a Raptor ID sticker will be redirected to the front office by a school staff member
