Principal's Message

Dear Melinda Heights Families,

Welcome to a new school year!  I could not be more delighted to welcome you to our incredible learning community.  All signs point to another fabulous year of growth for our Mountain Lions.  Registration for Fall 2022 is upon us and we are looking forward to welcoming our new Mountain Lions in August!  Last year, our kindergarten teachers put together a wonderful presentation for incoming kinder parents.  Here is the link: Kindergarten Orientation 2021.

The following "blurb" will provide a little bit of information about our amazing school:

Welcome to the home of the Melinda Heights Mountain Lions, where our school has served the Rancho Santa Margarita community for 20 years and is one of the top elementary schools in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. We are honored to serve approximately 1000 Kindergarten-6th grade, highly motivated students who are challenged daily in a rigorous and innovative 21st Century learning environment. The school is proud of its neighborhood feel, where parents play an integral part in the education of their children. Stepping on to our attractive and well maintained campus, you cannot help but catch our highly contagious, "Power of the Paw."

Students at Melinda Heights ROAR each and every day! Our acronym "ROAR" is at the heart of our school culture as our entire staff aims to promote positive behavior expectations on our campus. For a more detailed description of ROAR, please click here.
