Dear Linda Vista Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Linda Vista IB Magnet Elementary! I hope your summer was restful, joyful, and full of wonderful memories with family and friends. As we open our doors for a new year of learning, growth, and community, I am thrilled to welcome back our returning scholars and families—and extend a very warm welcome to those joining us for the first time!

This will be an exciting and meaningful year for our school. In November, we will be participating in our International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) 5-Year Evaluation. This important milestone allows us to reflect on our journey as an IB World School and showcase how we continue to provide a rich, inquiry-based education that empowers our students to become thoughtful, global citizens.

We are also proud to announce the launch of a new mild/moderate Autism program here at Linda Vista. This program reflects our commitment to inclusion, equity, and supporting all learners in reaching their fullest potential. We look forward to welcoming these new scholars and their families into our community.

Another highlight of the year will be our school-wide musical production—Disney Musicals in Schools Aladdin Kids! Our students will shine on stage as they sing, dance, and bring this magical story to life. This production is a wonderful opportunity for students to express themselves creatively, work collaboratively, and build confidence.

As always, our staff remains dedicated to nurturing a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to take on new challenges.
