Welcome to Glen Yermo Elementary!

It is my absolute pleasure to serve as the Principal at Glen Yermo.  After growing up in SVUSD and attending UC Irvine for both my undergraduate and graduate programs, I have had the opportunity to work in SVUSD as an elementary school teacher, district program specialist, and elementary school principal for the past 18 years. My family continues to reside in Orange County, and my own children now attend school in SVUSD as well.

Glen Yermo Elementary is an exceptional school, marked by a close-knit community of students, parents, and staff.  The teachers are whole-heartedly dedicated to the success of each and every student and believe that all of our scholars can achieve the highest levels of success.  Glen Yermo‘s academic program has been recognized with the Title I Academic Achievement Award, the California Gold Ribbon Award, and California School Board Association Golden Bell Award.

We are proud to be able to provide a number of specialized programs at our school including Reading Intervention, ST Math, GATE, PBIS, Social Emotional Learning, and GRIP.  Our Title I funds allow us to provide targeted support and enrichment to our students in a modern and welcoming school environment. In addition, our wonderful PTA provides additional enrichment opportunities for our students through Art Masters, Family Nights, and much more.  I invite you to learn more about these programs here on our school website and to come in to visit and see first-hand what a wonderful school and community we have here at Glen Yermo!
