• All incoming Kindergarten students are required to be 5 years old by September 1, 2025 for the 2025-26 school year.
• All Transitional Kindergarten students must have a 5th birthday that falls between September 2, 2025-June 2, 2026, and must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025.
• All incoming Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students and any new students must complete the Aeries Internet Registration (AIR) to register online.  
• Find your assigned neighborhood school for Grades K-12 with the School Locator.

• The Learning Connection (TLC) Before & After School Child Care is available through the Department of Expanded Learning Services.

What to expect before registering your child and how to prepare:

• You will either create an account in Aeries Internet Registration (AIR), or login if you already have an account.
• You will need to gather the following documents to complete the registration process:
  • Complete Immunization Record - you MUST enter all required immunizations, please
  • Proof of Age - Birth Certificate, Passport, or Baptism Certificate
  • Proof of Residency - Two current utility bills (gas, water, electric bill ONLY, no trash, cable, phone, car, etc will be accepted), or a utility bill and a current mortgage statement or lease agreement.

Once your online registration is complete, please scan and send the documents below to:

• AIR Registration Confirmation Form
• Original Birth Certificate or Passport 
• 2 public utility bills (gas, water, or electric ONLY)*
• Immunization Record**
• Please include the student's name and grade in the subject line of the email
• Please add fh-register@svusd.org to your contacts so our emails to you do not end up in your "junk" folder

To maintain the legibility of the document, scans are preferred to photos.  No scanner? Did you know the "notes" app in your iPhone can be used as a scanner?  If you don't have an iPhone, there are many scanning apps you can download. 

*If you are not the primary tenant at the home and are living with another family, a Co-Residency form is required by the primary tenant. This can be notarized or signed in front of an SVUSD employee with a driver’s license provided for ID and copies of their driver's license and utility bills (gas, water or electric) are required. This form is available from the district website under Resources, All Forms, Parent/Student. A utility bill is required to show you occupy the residence. 

** Immunization records - Some physicians do not give the last doses until your child turns five years old. You can still register and we will consider their registration to be conditionally complete. You will need to turn in their updated immunization record before school starts.  No students will be able to come to school without completed immunizations.

Additional Information:

GUARDIANSHIP PAPERS – If a student is living with someone other than the parent(s), this form must be completed and returned with the registration paperwork.

LEGAL CUSTODY DOCUMENTS must be on file in the school office if the student is NOT to be released to a parent.
