All New Registering Students

Due to limited access to the school site, registration continues to be done online.

All New students must complete the AIR registration process.  Please visit svusd.org and click on the "Register Now" box at the top of the page. 

You will need to gather the following documents to complete the registration process:

  • Complete Immunization Record

  • Proof of Age: Birth Certificate, Passport, or Baptism Certificate

  • 2 Proofs of Residency: (gas, water, electric bills ONLY, lease/mortgage agreement)

Once the AIR process is completed, please scan and send documents below to your child's school via email at FH-Register@svusd.orgPlease call the office at 949-470-4885 once these steps have been completed. For the 2020-21 school year, you will also need to select a learning option, 100% online for the year, or the hybrid model as described on the district website on page 11 of the Safety and Opening Plan.

  • Original Birth Certificate or Passport
  • AIR Registration Confirmation Form
  • 2 public utility bills (gas, water, or electric ONLY)
  • Immunization Record
  • Home Language Survey (can be found in the registration process or at http://go.svusd.org/homelanguagesurvey 

To maintain the legibility of the document, scans are preferred to photos.  No scanner? Did you know the "notes" app in your iPhone can be used as a scanner?  If you don't have an iPhone, there are many scanning apps you can download.  Photos will be accepted.

Kindergarten students are required to be 5 years old by September 1, 2020 for the 2020-2021 school year.

SVUSD anticipates again offering a Transitional Kindergarten program for children whose birthdays fall between September 2, 2015, and December 2, 2015.

The Learning Connection (TLC) Before & After School Child Care is available through the Department of Child Care Services

Are you a new student or continuing student to SVUSD?

  • A new student is someone who will attend any school in SVUSD for the first time.
  • A continuing student is someone who attended any school in SVUSD during the past school year.
