Dear Del Lago Families,

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying a restful and joyful summer. My name is Garrett Kerr, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Del Lago Elementary School. I am truly excited to join this vibrant and dedicated school community, and I look forward to an amazing school year filled with meaningful learning experiences, collaboration, and growth.

With a strong background in education and a deep commitment to student success, I believe that schools thrive when we work together—as educators, families, and community members—to support the whole child. I am passionate about creating a positive, inclusive, and safe environment where every student feels valued, inspired, and empowered to reach their full potential.

This year, my focus will be on listening, learning, and building strong relationships. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the playground, or during school events, I look forward to getting to know our students, staff, and families. Together, we will continue to build a culture of respect, achievement, and joy in learning.

Starting a new school year can be daunting but rest assured that you and your child/ren will find support here. That is what Del Lago offers and commits to for every student and family, unwavering support. The entire staff is committed to helping and supporting from TK all the way through 6th grade.
