The window to complete Data Confirmation has closed for the 2024-2025 school year. Please contact the school to make any changes.

Step 1 - Parent Portal Account

If you already have an active Parent Portal Account, proceed to the next step. If you do not already have a Parent Portal Account, create an SVUSD Parent Portal Account through the SVUSD Family Portal. An SVUSD Parent Portal Account (not a Student Account) is required to complete the Data Confirmation process. All Data Confirmation paperwork will be completed online prior to the start of school.

How do I know if I have a Parent account in Family Portal? When logged into your Family Portal account, go to the Profile tab. Check the Linked Portal Account email area for the email and type of account. Type P is Parent account and Type S is a student account. Be sure to complete Data Confirmation on the Parent account.

Step 2 - Data Confirmation (Closed October 2024)

Complete DATA CONFIRMATION. Go to the AERIES Family Portal. Follow all prompts and tabs within the Data Confirmation pages to confirm or correct your student's data. (Use Helpful Screenshot Instructions if needed.) In the Data Confirmation window, you will need to do the following:

1. Review and update demographic and emergency contacts and medical information
2. Print and sign the required forms
3. Return to parent portal to complete the data confirmation process

Step 3 - Return required form to the School Office

For New Students only please bring the following with you to the school office to complete the registration process:

• Printed copy of your registration forms.
• 2 proofs of residence (gas or electric bill plus lease or escrow papers)
• Student’s original birth certificate
• Current record of immunizations
  • (Health Requirements are as follows):
  • 4 doses of OPV/IPV
  • 5 doses of DPT/Dtap/DT/TD
  • 2 doses of MMR
  • 3 doses of Hepatitis B
  • 2 doses of Varicella vaccine (chicken pox)

The following additional forms will need to be completed at the school office:

• Home Language Survey
• Physical Form
• Kindergarten Data Sheet
• Enrollment Information

Step 4 - 1st Day of School

Online Registration

Step 1

Log onto the district website  and click the on ENROLL STUDENT tab at the top of the page.

Step 2

Carefully follow the easy directions and complete your students’ registration. Review it, make any corrections and submit. (Once you’ve submitted you cannot go back to make corrections.)  

Step 3

After online registration has been completed, please scan and email the following items to the school office at dl-register@svusd.org. 

• 2 proofs of Residence (2 utility bills)
• Student's Birth Certificate 
• Student's Immunization Record

Once these items are received, the office will email you any other documents that may need to be completed.

Kindergarten Round-Up Registration will begin in March. Begin the process by registering your student online at the SVUSD Register Now page.

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Back To School Night

For Parents ONLY

Both Kindergarten and TK Back to School night have not been scheduled but will take place prior to the start of school. Exact date and time to be determined.

 

 

To start registration click on the New Student Registration panel above. This is for students new to SVUSD or returning to SVUSD from another district after being out of SVUSD for a year or more.  If your child is a current SVUSD student, you do not need to re-register them for their new grade.

All Transitional Kindergarten students must have a 5th birthday that falls between September 2, 2023-April 2, 2024 to be eligible. There are no exceptions to the date range. The TK Program at Del Lago is for students whose home school is Del Lago or Foothill Ranch Elementary only. If your resident school is somewhere other than Del Lago or Foothill, see the Transitional Kindergarten page on the district website. The registration link is available by clicking on the REGISTER NOW tab at the top of the home page on the district website (Saddleback Valley Unified School District website).
