Dear de Portola Families and Students,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope you and your family had a wonderful summer filled with opportunities to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories. I am excited to welcome both our returning families and those who are joining the de Portola community for the first time. I am especially excited to welcome our TK families to our school. We are all looking forward to welcoming your little ones to campus. 

As I begin my third year as principal, I continue to feel honored to serve this incredible school community. Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of getting to know our amazing students, partnering with our dedicated staff, and building strong relationships with our families. Together, we have celebrated many accomplishments, and I am excited to continue building on that momentum as we begin another year of learning and growth.

At de Portola, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and supported. Our amazing staff works to inspire curiosity, foster a love of learning, and help every child reach their full potential; academically, socially, and emotionally.

One of the greatest strengths of our school is the partnership we share with our families. Your support, involvement, and collaboration make a tremendous difference in our students' success. I encourage you to stay connected throughout the year by communicating with your child's teacher, participating in school events, and keeping up to date through our school communication platforms.
