De Portola Elementary School, in partnership with staff and community, provides a challenging and nurturing learning environment for students. Our continued goal is for all students to master the California Content Standards appropriate for their grade levels. We also know that every child is unique, so we offer enrichment and intervention experiences that expand their intellectual and emotional capacities. In addition to our academic strengths, we work closely with parents to ensure that when students complete their studies at our school, they possess the intellectual, physical, and emotional tools to be successful in the years ahead. We are proud to have been named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2021 and a California Distinguished School in 2004 and 2008.
