Virtual Academy High School

Entrepreneurship Pathway

Beginning in the fall of 21-22, the SVUSD Virtual Academy (SVA) will partner with Saddleback College to provide SVA students with an opportunity to enroll in a one year entrepreneurship pathway.

What is the Entrepreneurship Pathway?

The Entrepreneurship Pathway provides students with an introduction to the entrepreneurial mindset and the steps necessary to create and sustain a new business.

How does it work?

Students will enroll in one or two Saddleback College courses each in semester during the year.  All courses will be completed online and will earn students both high school elective and college credit.

Semester 1 Semester 2
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Fund your Idea
  • Build Your Idea

Why Should Students Enroll?

Entrepreneurship is more than just starting a business. It is about creating value for others while engaging in work that is personally meaningful.

The entrepreneurial mindset can be applied to all aspects of life to adapt, to recognize opportunities, to overcome and learn from setbacks, and to succeed in a variety of settings.
