Supporting All Students in an Online Learning Environment

As a K-12 online and blended learning school, SVA teachers, counselor, and staff empower and support students to take ownership of their education, engage in a relevant and personalized curriculum, and participate in the SVA community.
The SVA uses an enriched virtual model of instruction in which students complete the majority of their coursework online with a significant amount of control over the place, pace, and path of their education but are also required to attend live class instruction.
As teachers combine and choose effectively between the two learning approaches, they are able to create a more personalized approach to learning and provides a balance of structure and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students.
