Student New to SVUSD

These instructions are for NEW students who have NEVER previously enrolled in an SVUSD school.

Enrollment and Registration Steps

Step One

Go to Saddleback Valley Unified School District website to register your student and create a SVUSD account: Aeries Online Enrollment (AIR).

IMPORTANT: To indicate your intent to attend the SVUSD Virtual Academy, instead of selecting the grade your student is entering, select the SVUSD Virtual Academy from the grade level/program dropdown menu. This will ensure your registration is sent to the SVUSD Virtual Academy and not your resident school.

Step Two

Gather the following required documentation:

  • Two proofs of address (current gas, electric or water bill, mortgage statement or lease agreement in parent/guardian's name – phone bills or credit statements cannot be accepted as residency verification)
  • A copy of the student’s current transcript or grade report
  • A copy of the student’s immunization record or yellow immunization card. Please note: effective September 10, 2010, state law requires that all students have the pertussis booster (TDAP) prior to attending school in California.
  • A copy of the student’s birth certificate (the student will be registered under their legal name provided on the birth certificate per California Ed Code).

Step Three

Contact the SVUSD Virtual Academy (949-580-3457) to set-up an enrollment appointment. Please bring the completed AERIES Internet Registration (AIR) Form and required documents (Step 3) to your appointment.

Current SVUSD Student

These instructions are for students who are currently attending an SVUSD elementary, intermediate, or high school.

Enrollment and Registration Instructions

Current SVUSD students MUST be referred to the SVUSD Virtual Academy by the school they are currently attending.  Elementary students/parents should contact their school principal; intermediate and high school students/parents should contact their school counselor.  We cannot proceed with the enrollment without the referral. 

Once your your current school's principal or counselor has approved your request please contact the SVUSD Virtual Academy (949) 580-3457 to set up an enrollment appointment. You will need to bring the following to your registration meeting: 

  • Student Withdraw Report (provided by your current school)
  • 1 proof of address (current gas, electric or water bill, mortgage statement or lease agreement in parent/guardian's name – phone bills or credit statements cannot be accepted as residency verification)

Returning SVUSD Students

These instructions are for students who are currently attending school outside of the SVUSD district BUT were previously enrolled in an SVUSD school.

Enrollment and Registration Instructions

Step One

Contact the SVUSD Virtual Academy (949-580-3457) to set-up an enrollment appointment. Please bring the completed required documents (Step 3) to your appointment.

Step Two
