Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is a team-based process including a broad range of systemic and individualized strategies for achieving important social and learning outcomes. It is a proactive approach to teach, monitor, and support appropriate school behavior for all students. The fundamental purpose of PBIS is to make schools more effective, efficient and equitable learning environments. At Silverado, our focus is on preventing problem behavior of all students at the school-wide, classroom, community and individual levels.
