High School Students Class Registration (Minors)

High school students who wish to take High School Credit Recovery classes in addition to their regular high school program must complete the form "Request For Registration In High School Credit Recovery By A Day School Student." This form is available in the guidance office at each high school.

Fall Registration is ongoing from August 13th - August 31st.

High school students from SVUSD high schools who enroll in HS Credit Recovery English, Math, Social Science, or Science classes generally obtain their textbooks from their home high school. Check with the High School Credit Recovery teacher at the first class meeting for details regarding a book. If a student does not have the textbook by the second class meeting that they attend, he or she may be dropped from the class. Students experiencing difficulty obtaining a textbook should immediately contact the High School Credit Recovery office for assistance.

For a 2.5 credit class (8 weeks):
  • Credit students must attend class a minimum of 24 hours.
  • Students will be automatically dropped from class after THREE (3) hours of absence, regardless of any reason or "makeup" time.
For a 5.0 credit class (15 weeks):
  • Credit students must attend class a minimum of 45 hours.
  • Students will be automatically dropped from class after THREE (3) hours of absence, regardless of any reason or "makeup" time.
