How to Activate Your Account

There are a few different ways for parents to activate their ParentSquare accounts:

1. Activation Email. All parents received an email from Aeries Communications inviting them to activate their ParentSquare account. Simply click the “Activate Your Account” button from the email, and you’ll be brought to ParentSquare.
2. Aeries Communications Tab. When logged into Aeries, you will now see a “Communications” tab. If you click on this tab it will bring you to ParentSquare.
3. ParentSquare Sign In Page. The third option is to go directly to ParentSquare.com/signin where you can input your email associated with Aeries in the field under the “Register” tab. Once you register for your student’s school, you’ll be taken to ParentSquare.
4. ParentSquare Mobile App*. You can follow a similar process to the Sign In Page option above by downloading the app and following the prompts to activate your account.

*Note: The ParentSquare Mobile App is a fantastic resource and very easy to use. However, if you have the ability to setup your account on a desktop or laptop computer, we recommend using that method first.

Confirm Your Information

Once you have made it to ParentSquare, you will be asked to confirm your information. This is easily done; simply select the green “Yes, this is me” button next to your contact information once it is displayed. You may also be asked to combine multiple accounts at this point; if you aren’t asked to combine multiple accounts and need to later, you can do so with the directions in the next section.

You may end up with multiple logins in ParentSquare. If this happens, directions for combining multiple accounts are listed below, both for the desktop and mobile app. However, you may choose to start with a merged account when you first login if you have more than one contact card already.

Important Note

Only follow these steps if you end up with multiple ParentSquare accounts or logins. DO NOT combine accounts with another parent. For security reasons, accounts that are linked together this way may be deactivated and you will need to go through the activation process again.

Combine Accounts on Desktop

1. Log in to your main ParentSquare account.
2. Click your name in upper right and select “My Account.”
3. Click “Combine with another account.”
4. Log in to your other ParentSquare account.
5. Select name to use on your account and click “Combine Accounts.”

Your accounts are now combined. The next time you login to ParentSquare, you will be able to access your account using any of the associated email addresses or phone numbers on your combined account.

Combine Accounts on Mobile App

1. Log in to your main ParentSquare account.
2. Tap menu in upper left, select Account then “Combine Accounts.”
3. Sign in to your other ParentSquare account.
4. Select name to use on your account and click “Combine Accounts.”

Your accounts are now combined. The next time you login to ParentSquare, you will be able to access your account using any of the associated email addresses or phone numbers on your combined account.

ParentSquare users are able to choose how often they are receiving notifications by medium (i.e. email, text, and app push notifications). This means that you, as a parent, can choose to receive your communications instantly or in a personalized “Digest” once per day.

The Digest notification setting means that all of your daily ParentSquare communications will be compiled into a nicely organized, personalized newsletter. This will be delivered to your email inbox and via text every day at 6 PM. Digest is the default setting in ParentSquare.

If you wish to receive all of your communications instantly throughout the day, you can change your notifications settings to "Instant." If you wish to receive no notifications, you can also turn them off.

Here are the directions for updating these settings:

Update Notification Preferences on Desktop

1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of the dashboard
2. Select “My Account”
3. Find the “Notification Settings” tab on the lefthand menu
4. Select Digest, Instant or Off for email, text, and app notifications (if you have the app)

Update Notification Preferences on Mobile App

1. Click on your name in the app
2. Select “My Account”
3. Find the “Notification Settings” tab
4. Select Digest, Instant or Off for email, text, and app notifications

*Note: Regardless of your notification preference settings in ParentSquare, you will receive emergency Alerts regarding time-sensitive information on campus, such as when there is a power outage, natural disaster, lockdown, or increased security presence.

Your home language will automatically be pulled in from Aeries, but you have the ability to change this preference in ParentSquare. A great feature with ParentSquare is that you can communicate using your preferred language, and who you are communicating with receive it in their own preferred language.

To change this setting, go to “My Account” and select “Language Settings.”

You will receive communications via email, text, and voice messages (for Alerts) by default in ParentSquare. You have the ability to update your preferences on how you receive your notifications from ParentSquare (information on notification preferences is in the previous section), but if you need to opt-out for any reason, you can do so with the following methods:

• Emails. Click the “Unsubscribe” link in any email you receive
• Text Messages. Click the Opt-Out link in the first text message you receive from ParentSquare, or, reply STOP to any subsequent message.

My email is correct in ParentSquare. Why am I not receiving emails?

Please check your spam to see if any ParentSquare messages ended up there, and mark them as "Not Spam." Also add donotreply@parentsquare.com to your email contacts so your server recognizes our messages.

Opted-out on accident or not receiving texts?

Text START to 66458.

A Note on Voice Messages

Voice messages may be sent out as a part of emergency Alerts and are intended to inform parents regarding serious or emergency situations, such as a lockdown, natural disaster, or some sort of increased security presence on campus. These cannot be turned off by the parent.
