Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten registration is now being conducted online. Starting Monday, March 17, 2025, you will be able to register your child from the comfort of your own home! 

• Students currently enrolled in SVUSD Preschool programs (Best Buddies, Preschool Connection, Learning Link, etc) WILL need to register in AIR for TK/Kindergarten.
• Students currently enrolled in the SVUSD Transitional Kindergarten program DO NOT need to re-register in AIR for Kindergarten.
• All incoming Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students and any new students must complete the Aeries Internet Registration (AIR) and scan and send documents to school email: SVUSD Elementary School Registration Email Addresses.   
• All incoming Kindergarten students are required to be 5 years old by September 1, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year.
• All Transitional Kindergarten students are required to be 4 years old by September 1, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year.
• Find your assigned neighborhood school for Grades K-12 with the School Locator.
• Please contact your school site if you have any questions
• The Learning Connection (TLC) Before & After School Child Care is available through the Department of Expanded Learning Services.

What to expect before registering your child and how to prepare:

• You will either create an account in Aeries Internet Registration (AIR), or login if you already have an account.
• You will need to gather the following documents to complete the registration process:
  • Complete Immunization Record.
  • Proof of Age. Birth Certificate, Passport, or Baptism Certificate
  • Proof of Residency. Two current utility bills (Telephone or Cable bills NOT accepted), or a utility bill and a current mortgage statement or lease agreement.
• Note: We also understand that school sites normally hand out the First Grade Physical form and Getting to Know Your Child form during the registration process; these forms will now be provided to parents in August directly from your school site.

Steps for Transferring:

1. Find your school of assignment with the School Locator.
2. Contact your school of assignment and register there.
3. New mid-year students should register at their school of assignment.

5. The Learning Connection (TLC) Before & After School Child Care is available through the Department of Expanded Learning Services.

You will need to bring with you:

• Immunization record
• Birth certificate
• Proof of residency – usually two current utility bills – telephone bills not accepted.

• When registering, please let the school know if your child was enrolled in any special programs.
