Linda Vista Elementary School is located in the city of Mission Viejo, educating students from kindergarten through 6th grade. Linda Vista opened its doors in 1968. Supported by the partnerships of school, home, and community, Linda Vista Elementary School promotes excellence and a commitment to learning within a safe and nurturing environment that empowers every child to succeed and reach his/her full potential. At Linda Vista, they strive to promote the growth of the whole child by building relationships, focusing on rigorous standards-based instruction, providing professional development for staff and encouraging parent involvement.

Linda Vista Elementary School is a certified AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Elementary school. The AVID essentials of instruction, culture, leadership and systems are the path to student success and college readiness. Student success begins at Linda Vista.

Linda Vista emphasizes character traits such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship through our school wide positive behavior system, ROPES (Respect Others Property Education Self), and student council, which fosters student leadership. Linda Vista prides itself in preparing Linda Vista’s students to succeed in tomorrow’s world.
