School personnel may assist student with the administration of medication if certain requirements are met in compliance with California Education Code Section 49423.

Anyone administering medication must complete the Medication In-Service through District Health Services. After completion of the “On-Line” Medication In-Service, personnel are required to take both a written test, and have a practical training by District Health Nurses to receive the Certification of Completion.
