Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information & Updates

On March 7, 2020 the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the California Department of Education (CDE) recommended for schools to encourage individuals who have a travel history over the course of the last 14 days to an area identified by the CDC as a Level 3 Travel Health Notice to self-quarantine for 14 days (from the day of return to the United States).  Additionally, this applies to those who have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 (for 14 days from the date of their last exposure).

SVUSD is in agreement with the CDPH & CDC recommendation and is appreciative of your cooperation.

Current list of countries designated as Level 3: China, Iran, Italy and South Korea.

The Saddleback Valley Unified School District is in frequent communication with county health agencies and officials as well as other county districts to closely monitor the situation involving COVID-19.  We will continue to provide updates as necessary and encourage you to access the below resources, particularly the linked websites, which provide up-to-date information.
