Silverado High School - Facility Needs Assessment and Plan
Silverado High School is a fully-accredited, alternative continuation high school located in Mission Viejo, California for grades 9 through 12. Silverado opened its doors in 1974. A variety of classes are offered to assist students in making up credit deficits and allow them to find the style of learning that will increase their success in school. The daily program of instruction accommodates individual needs yet adheres to the rigorous Saddleback Valley Unified School District curriculum adopted by the secondary schools. Silverado is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
The Master Planners met with Silverado's administration, teachers, parents and students to identify the school's facilities needs. An evaluation of the site was also performed by the architects and engineers. Listed below are the notes and meeting dates that have been held at Silverado so far.
