Cordillera is committed to providing a nurturing and safe environment in which children develop a lifelong love of learning. They provide abundant and diverse opportunities for students to develop intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially. Cordillera has a strong commitment to meeting the needs of each student and to collaborating with parents and the community to build a strong team of support for students and their families.
Just some of the great things about Cordillera:
·Monthly STEAM challenges where K-2 students engage in the Ramps and Pathways engineering program and upper grade students are learning to program Lego Robotics.
·Participation in Class Act, a grant program funded by the Pacific Symphony Orchestra where students study a different composer each year, taught by a musician from the Pacific Symphony.
·Active parent involvement through the PTA and School Site Council, volunteering hundreds of hours on campus as well as providing students with assemblies, fine arts programs and technology.
