California State Law requires all students entering 7th through 12th grades to show proof of a teen booster shot against whooping cough (pertussis) known as a Tdap booster. To be in compliance with this law, your student must have received the Tdap vaccine after the 7th birthday to attend school. A “Td” booster will not meet this requirement.
