California Immunization Requirements
California law requires that students entering school have immunizations for certain childhood illnesses. Bring the written verification of any new immunizations to your child's school before the school year begins.
The District does not provide immunization clinics. Please contact your medical provider or call the Orange County Health Care Agency at 1-800-564-8448.

- For ALL 7th Grade Starting July 1, 2019 Students Need:
Varicella (Chickenpox) — 2 doses
(Usually given at ages 12 months and 4-6 years)
Parents must show their child's Immunization Record as proof of immunization.
Additional school immunization requirements for 7th graders typically apply to students who:
- Previously had a valid personal beliefs exemption filed before 2016 upon entry between TK/Kindergarten and 6th grade - (they are No Longer valid) and
- New admissions, including from out-of-state; applies to all grades.

CPR AND FIRST AID CLASSES IN THE AREA

Please Note: Classes taken "on-line" meet the requirement unless they are supplemented by a 2 to 3 hour hands-on portion taught by a certified CPR instructor, in accordance with the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.

The Mission Asthma Program can help you and your child control asthma through education, access to no or low cost medical care and medications. The program offers assistance with obtaining healthcare insurance and medications, asthma education, tips for exercising with asthma and how to prevent attacks, as well as ways to manage asthma and allergies at home.
