The Elementary and Secondary Education Act, codified as No Child Left Behind (NCLB), requires that local education agencies (LEAs) have an LEA Plan. In addition, LEAs identified for Program Improvement (PI) must revise the District Plan in consultation with parents, school staff, and others. The Addendum identifies strategies for improving student achievement that are implemented District wide.

2017-18 LEA Plan

Title III is the section of No Child Left Behind that addresses the needs of Limited English Proficient students and eligible immigrant students. The District is required to have a separate Title III Plan and Budget.

La Ley de Educación Primaria y Secundaria, codificada como Que Ningún Niño se Quede Atrás (NCLB), requiere que las agencias locales de educación (LEAs) tengan un Plan LEA. Además, las LEAs identificadas para un Mejoramiento de Programa (PI) deben revisar el Plan del Distrito consultando a los padres, el personal de las escuelas, y a otros. El anexo identifica las estrategias para mejorar el logro académico de los alumnos, las cuales se implementan a nivel del Distrito.

Plan LEA 2017-18

El Título III es la sección de Que Ningún Niño se Quede Atrás que aborda las necesidades de los alumnos con aptitud limitada del inglés y alumnos inmigrantes elegibles. Se requiere que el Distrito tenga un Plan del Título III y un presupuesto separado.
