The Commission-Approved SVUSD New Teacher Induction Program provides an Early Completion Option (ECO) to all qualifying program candidates in accordance with Senate Bill 57 (Chapter 269, Scott).  This option may support experienced and exceptional Teacher Induction candidates who meet the qualifying criteria.  All Teacher Induction program candidates are notified of the opportunity to apply for this program completion option. This option allows a candidate to complete the Induction Program in 1 year instead of 2 years.

ECO Eligibility Requirements

Experience Requirement:

• Two or more years of full-time teaching experience.

Exceptionality Requirements:

• Standards-Based Evaluations from most recent teaching assignment (marked at highest level)
• ECO recommendation from a current administrator
• Clear Evidence of Exceptional Teaching Practices connected to CSTPs 1-6 provided in Teacher’s Portfolio
