Transitional Kindergarten, or TK, is the first year of a two-year Kindergarten program offered to children who are the age of 4 by September 1 at no cost.
Transitional Kindergarten at SVUSD is:
- Part of the public school system so there is no charge and voluntary
- Taught by Credentialed Teachers specializing in Early Education
- Offered at regional sites with transportation provided by parents
