Youth Sports
Youth sports promotes sportsmanship, physical development, boosts self esteem, and builds teamwork skills.
We encourage positive sportsmanship by presenting the Mark Feldman Team Sportsmanship Award to one team in each division every season who displays the best sportsmanship. Our leagues have minimum play rules so every child has a chance to participate and we encourage our coaches to keep practices and games fun!
Inclement Weather
Outdoor programs are cancelled due to inclement weather. A determination of field conditions will be made one hour prior to game time.
For cancellation information, please visit the youth sports webpage or visit our facebook page: SVUSD Community Services.
The websites will only be updated if a cancelation is made. For make up game information, please click on the specific sports link.
Volunteer Coaches
Volunteer coaches are what make our youth sports leagues successful and affordable. Coaches are provided with a coach's kit that includes
- Coach's manual, including fun games and drills
- Coach's Volunteer shirt
