About La Paz
La Paz Intermediate School is located in the city of Mission Viejo, educating students in 7th and 8th grade. The school opened its doors in 1969. La Paz’s mission is to ensure academic success of all students within a caring and nurturing environment that meets the unique needs of the middle school student. It's an outstanding middle school and is a National School To Watch (2011 to Present). La Paz has also been recognized as a California Distinguished School (2007, 2003, 1992,1990) and a National Blue Ribbon School (2005, 1993). The school prides itself in providing all of the students with a rigorous standards-based curriculum within a caring and supportive environment.
